Special Light-Weight Locomotive No.21

I'd got a ITO WORKS Special Light-Weight Locomotive ("Tokushu-Keiryou-Kikansha" in Japanesen)kit at SWAP MEET Dec.'98 in Sendagaya Tokyo. I assemble it and scratched power unit.

I'd also got 4.0mm diameter small motor and M0.25 small gears in that meeting. I've used these parts for power unit.

I assemble etched brass body. I soaked it in Micro-Engineering Weathering Solution and paint it blue.Figure is arrangement of Priser. And It suffered deep weathering.

It can run very slow with two stage worm gears.


I painted loco with acrylic Sky-blue same as Foney. I thinned paint to see-through under black color. I call it "See-Through Paint" myself. And I scratched lettering for looking weathered.

Detachable top for interior craft. I made Priser Figure in a sit ting posture.

I added fly wheel to power unit. Detail is here. I failed fixing to body by screw, now using double-side adhesive tape.
