音楽、舞台美術、現代メディアなどとの国際共同作業作品。「おわら」の曲で舞う盆ダンスの映像を劇場のスクリーンに映す。その映像は創造的に切り取られた映像で内部を異世界にする。能的な、禅的な、しかも飛躍のあるトランスファ・ダンス。風の盆から想を得て、万葉の時代、現代小説、遠い冬の雪の記憶など、様々なイメージが交叉して、存在と非在、内部と外部のはざまで魂の時間を創出する。

暑い夏のあとは、秋が早くやってまいりました。
皆様におかれましては　ますます　ご活躍のことと思います。
さて、この夏、偶然にもアヴィニョンをフェスティバル時に訪ね、
「風の盆歌」をフランス人の主人と、知人夫妻とともに拝見いたしました。
４人とも、とても不思議な世界に引きこまれ、当日は　夜おそかったこともあり、
皆、そのまま眠りにつきました。翌朝、全員が、昨夜の残像について印象を語り、
それは、はっきりとは　ことばに表すことができないものでしたが、なにか
ひどく魂を揺さぶられるようなものでした。
日本に戻り、秋風のふくころになると、また　なぜか　あの夜のダンスを思い
だします。庭の竹のゆれるのをながめながら　朝食をとっていると、主人も、
あのダンスのことを考えていたと言います。

もう１度　是非　見たいと思っています。

KAZE NO BON-UTA [OWARA- Requiem pour Le Vent]　(40min)　Au Theatre Le Funambule

L'approche choregraphique de Saoi constitue un style nouveau qu'elle nomme "Danse Passage" et s'articule autour d'une recherche de fusion entre philosophies et techniques de l'Orient et de l'Occident. Une danse qui s'inscrit tout a la fois dans l'univers de l'art contemporain et celui du No. Une Piece entre souvenir de la danse folklorique "OWARA" et de la neige du Nord... "Collage d'ima
ges" issues tout a la fois du roman moderne et du moyen age. Entre Existence et Non-existence, elle cree le Temps de l'Esprit. (transration　Kana Nakajima)

　Al recibir esta misiva,descontando que se encuentre bien,les hago llegar mis cordiales saludos.
Despues del caluroso verano,esta llegando la temporada otonal.

Este verano estando de visita en Avignon,con mi esposo frances y una pareja amiga.De casualidad fuimos a ver,el Festival de Avignon,y presenciamos la obra "Kaze no Bon-uta"
Los cuatro estuvimos absortos por el increible mundo que nos llevo la obra.Como el espectaculo termino a medianoche,esa noche todos nos fuimos a dormir sin comentario alguno.
A la manana siguiente,a la hora del desayuno,estuvimos comentando sobre la impresion que nos habia dejado la obra mencionada.No es facil describir en palabras,pero es como que la danza que habiamos presenciado anoche, nos hubiera estremecido en el alma a todos nosotros.
Ya de regreso en Japon,con el clima del viento otonal,en la hora del desayuno, observando los bambues del jardin ,nos hace acordar aquella noche del espectaculo de danza en Avignon.Mi esposo,me comenta que estaba pensando en lo mismo.

Haciendo votos,de una prospera actividad artistica,les hacemos llegar nuestro estimulo,esperando ver otra vez vuestra obra.

It seems that autumn has speeded up to come here after the intense heat of summe
r. I imagine everyone of you is working actively now.
In summer I happened to visit Avignon during the Festival period and had a chanc
e to see 'OWARA-Requiem of the Wind' with my husband (he is French) and my friend couple.
Four of us were taken into a very marvelous world. As it was late at night we al
l went to sleep without expressing our feelings. Next morning all of us talked a
bout the afterimage from the night before. Although it was indescribable, it was
something extremely soul-stirring.
Now being back in Japan, feeling the autumn breeze, I remember that night and th
at dance for some unknown reason. At breakfast, looking at the swaying bamboo tr
ees in my garden, my husband said that he also was thinking of that dance.
I think I must see it again.
I sincerely support your creative activity and performances in future.
