Tapping harmonics is one big technic which every guitarist want to do.
It looks great, it sounds great !
But that technic concept is simple.
Everyone can do tapping harmonics in a minute.
I will explain the way I do.
There are few knacks that making sound good.
Europe - Tuck Andress Ver. Score Please look above picture.
This is the score which I play tapping harmonics from "Europe by Tuck Andress"
"Har" means harmonics.
On the score, there is a number.
That shows where should you push fret on guitar.
Harmonics point is plus 12 fret.
If you hold 5th fret, you should tap 5+12 fret, that was 17th fret.
Tapping harmonics is just tap string.
I suggest tap diagonally or slantingly made better sound than tap vertically.

Please use these as a reference.
1st,
raise up your hand like this.
Tapping harmonics needs momentum.
2nd,
Hit the strings.
Please hit strings diagonally from front to rear.
3rd,
Please release your hand to rear section of your guitar.
It's like a "Tap out the strings"
If you tap vertically, hand doesn't look like this.
Vertical tapping will absorb clear note.
Diagonally tapping gives you clearer sound.
