The Shirasagi-no-mai (White heron's dance)is a Shinto ritual that has its roots in the Gion Festival
of Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto over 1000 years ago.
It was revived in Sensou-ji Temple in Asakusa based on this in 1968. November, 2005 |
