MUSASHINO is area of the Musashino plateau of the Kanto plains southeast part. It is the copse which can be called original scenery of MUSASHINO, and especially the scenery was loved by many writers and painters after the Meiji era (1868-). (For example, it is ... like BARBIZON.) The nature of MUSASHINO will not be violent, will be a sequence of the trees cared for moderately, and may be the form of one ideal where nature and human being live together. However, present MUSASHINO is developed and it is difficult to maintain old scenery.
