The Hiwatari Matsuri (Firewalking festival) is a religious traditional event in Yakuoin temple (in Mt. Takao, Hachioji City, Tokyo) annual. The monk, believer, and general people walk along the marks of fire with bare feet. And it is with praying various from the peace in the world to a family's stability. March, 2005 |
