The Daruma-ichi ( Fair of Dharma Dolls ) is held in Jindai-ji Temple of the Tokyo Chofu city every year.
The form of a Dharma doll is round. It means that it gets up even if it down.
People paint one of eyes of the Dharma doll with the Indian ink when there is a wish. And, there is a custom of painting the other eyes of the Daruma doll when the wish is realized. Also, the Dharma doll is decorated as what brings luck.
