In 8th century, Fujiwara no Fusazaki visited Shido Bay where his mother had died. There appeared a fisher-girl. She said to him, " The Chinese Emperor sent three treasures to Fusazaki's father Fuhito(a great statesman in 8th century), two of them arrived safely, but the third was lost in this bay. Fuhito came here to find the jewel and fell in love with "ama"(a fisher-girl). They had a son, and Fuhito promised her that her son would become the next minister if she would rescue the jewel. She dived into the sea, and found the jewel in the palace in the bottom of the sea where a dragon was watching the jewel. She gained the jewel, but the dragon swam to chase her. She cut her breast open and hid the jewel inside. She died as she presented it to Fuhito." Then the fisher-girl disappeared saying " I am your mother, a ghost of the fisher-girl in that time." When Fusazaki prayed for his mother's soul, she appeared born again as a Blessed Dragon Lady of Paradise. She danced with the scroll of the Hokkekyou(a kind of Buddhism sutra) in her hand, and told him that she had attained salvation.
