A little taste of heaven - I use a glass pie plate in the oven. The butter is melted while preheating the oven.

A favorite of the past and present, as prepared by my grandma. When I was growing up we had an apple tree and 2 cherry trees, and wild blackberries down the road, so I often made pies too.
