About INQUIRY
Amabiki is a truly unique venture- we feel that sculpture is a natural and organic process which belongs as much in the environment from which it was born as in a gallery. The situation of each individual piece is carefully considered to draw deliberate connections between the sculpture and the space. Amabiki is an artist-run committee where all members share responsibility and have equal say in the decision making process. Each new exhibition sees new artists arrive to take the place of those who have moved on to other, new projects. The committee is constantly evolving with the introduction of each new piece. The committee meets once a month for a year in the lead up to the new exhibition and is dissolved after the completion of a successful exhibition. All year round we can be reached by email to answer any questions you may have and to note your opinions. All feedback is welcome and we would love to hear from you.
